Our AI Philosophy

The Ten Commandments of Artificial Intelligence

How we think about AI — and what that means for every decision you make.

The Ten Commandments of Artificial Intelligence

Glasshouse gives people a space to think through decisions before they make them. Not a tool that tells you what to do — a space to figure out what you think.

Every simulation is built around that idea. The commandments above are what we hold ourselves to in order to keep it true.

Our Belief

AI should expand human judgment, not replace it.

Our Philosophy

Most AI tools give you answers. Glasshouse helps you decide.

There's a real difference between a tool that tells you what to do and one that helps you work through what's actually at stake. Glasshouse is the second kind.

Simulations let you rehearse a situation — a difficult conversation, a big career move, a personal crossroads — before you're in the middle of it. That's useful in a way that a quick AI answer simply isn't.

In Practice

What this looks like inside Glasshouse

Here's what that looks like in the product:

  • ▸AI responds to what you say — it doesn't lead you toward a predetermined conclusion
  • ▸Feedback is framed as reflection, not judgment — designed to help you grow
  • ▸Scenarios explore multiple possible outcomes, not a single "correct" path
  • ▸You can stop, restart, or take a different approach at any point
  • ▸Your simulations remain private — we don't analyze or sell what you choose to practice

Simulation only works if you feel safe enough to be honest in it. That's what every design decision is protecting.

Our Principles

How we build — six principles

AI as guide, not authority

Glasshouse AI surfaces possibilities and perspectives. It does not make decisions for you. Every simulation is designed to expand your thinking, not replace it.

You stay in control

Simulations are a rehearsal space, not a prescription. You choose what to explore, how far to go, and what to take from it. The judgment always remains yours.

Uncertainty is respected

We don't pretend AI can predict the future. What it can do is help you think through more possibilities — so that whatever happens, you're less surprised by it.

Reflection over reaction

The most valuable thing a simulation can do is slow you down. Give you space to notice your own assumptions, test your instincts, and arrive at decisions more deliberately.

Privacy is non-negotiable

What you rehearse in Glasshouse is yours alone. We don't monetize your decisions, your scenarios, or your vulnerabilities. A safe space to think requires real privacy.

Growth, not performance

Glasshouse isn't grading you. Feedback is designed to help you develop — not rank you, shame you, or optimize you for someone else's benchmark.

Our Commitment

Built for preparation, not persuasion

Glasshouse isn't trying to change your mind. It's trying to help you make it up — with more clarity about what you're walking into.

Going into a hard conversation, a major decision, or an unfamiliar situation with some practice behind you makes a real difference. Glasshouse is where you get that practice.

You stay in control of what you explore and what you take from it. The AI responds. It doesn't lead.

Why This Matters

The decision is always yours.

Glasshouse won't tell you what to do. It'll help you get clearer on what you think — so when the moment comes, you're ready for it.
